Act Appalled - Circa Survive
The kind of relationships that stem from being enclosed in small areas for prolonged periods of a day are always wondrous. The cast of TGO has taken the inevitable path to closeness, and the last time I checked, we have grown quite fond of each other. We're a fist fight with an opponent short of being each other's bitches, really.
A couple of us headed to IKEA Tampines on Tuesday, since rehearsals were cancelled (we all not-so-secretly rejoiced) as we've been talking very lengthily about putting some Swedish goodness into our black holes of stomachs. That, and the fact that we've been rather deprived of sunlight this holiday.
Also, this was our protest, our feeble attempt to justify with ourselves that we can indeed dwell in spaces apart from a studio with a heavy door that we finally broke two days ago.
And for this photospam's entree, a marathon of consecutive shots:
Yes that was a lot of them, I know.
You can only vaguely tell, but this was actually part of a incredibly effervescent Diva-Off between Duane and Ievan. Dyan, I don't know how you managed to stay so long in between them without combusting.
And then there was food.
We did the obligatory tour around the showrooms, shamelessly declaring every nook and cranny part of our warped kingdom; spacing out on sofas, pretending to pee in toilets that don't work and hosting extravagant dinner parties with empty bowls and dusty cutlery.
There was a lot of talk involved, some unforgiving remarks being made and an intricate dissection of recent going-ons. But as usual, everything was accompanied by a hefty dosage of good-naturedness and laughter. Situation NEUTRALIZED. Lastly,
PHOTO WITHIN A PHOTO. C WAT I DID THAR.
