song of my life

Photobucket

December by Lydia

In fog and smoke, you are the miraculous clearing that we satellites seem to gravitate to. How you got us so submissive, we have no clue but we don't mind. You are selfless, and you feed our addictions to trembling voices and dreams etched on the inside of our eyes so fully.

How we all wished you came in boxes we'd find lined up against the peeling wallpaper of our neighbourhood stores, nestled between fruit and daily necessity. Or in coffee cups grounded finely into our mornings, sewed within our blind routines.

It is too much to ask, but you know we'd settle for your dust. As we greedily breathe you in, we'll all anticipate the dance party within our bodies that will make us float to good skies. We will stay like that. We will stay like that, with you raging inside, remembering the way that you made us fly.

Goodbye.

  1. Oh my your song of the week. Love it! Anywayyy, this is the link to my blogspot, which I am still trying to revamp and scouting for a simpler theme most probably without chatbox or something.

    Night and see you later!
